Writers' BLOC meets in Port Elgin at 6:00 pm the last Thursday evening of each month. This small informal group offers helpful feedback on your writing and reminders re upcoming events of interest to writers.

The Write Now Club of Owen Sound welcomes writers from a wide area to its first-Wednesday-of-the-month afternoon meetings, usually held at the Ritz Cafe (soon to be renamed Golden Sands) on Tenth Street. Arrive at 12:00 pm for lunch, or at 1:00 pmfor the meeting, where news and readings are shared.
